<p>Engineering students had the highest average GPA's and Units. LOL 50% admit rate is quite misleading.</p>

Rate: 17.75%
GPA: 3.70</p>

<p>It's no longer the back-up major now.. same applies to Economics..
rate decreased to 19.51% from 24.08%... and the GPA increased to 3.78...</p>

<p>i transfered to UCLA and when i looked up last year's profile, my major, chemical engieering had an avg GPA 3.80, but this year has only 3.66....huge drop...dunno if this a good or bad sign....</p>

<p>UCLA PreBusiness econ has the highest number of applicants, 1518 people. thats like more than the whole applicants for engineering school? the admit rate is 18.77 percent, with 3.81 average admitted GPA. congratulations to admitted UCLA Biz Econ major!!!</p>

<p>dhl3, yeah, I saw that...good thing I didn't know before I applied, might've freaked myself out of it. As it is, I'm thrilled. The major sounds fantastic.</p>
