UCLA ahead of Cal Tech!

I...must...spam...more...

EG is killing me.

But I have a good excuse...

I have 2 midterms this week and a PIA quiz. The horror...

Post-whore?

I prefer: An Avid CC Member of Reputable Distinction

lol

(curse you, 10 character minimum)

I'd say this board has MORE than 10 "characters" all right. ;)

I certainly believe so. Hey, it's SoCal. That's what you expect. A diversity of characters.

I agree...

i never figured out why caltech was #1 in the USNWR 2000 rankings and dropped to #8 on the 2005 one. guess we're not the only school getting ahead of caltech! ;)

Does CalTech work with JPL?

Joke on guys. If everyone at UCLA were as arrogant as you guys, UCLA would go down to Riverside.
It's not even in the top 3 public universities anymore, because of the aforementioned reason.
According to the most recent report by US News, Berkeley, Ann Arbor, and UVA all rank ahead of UCLA.

Bubbles, you're really running out of things to say, aren't you? Lighten up a bit.

To further demonstrate my 'arrogance' (haha), I would like to point out that UCLA would go down to Riverside seems to imply that the school would physically uproot and move to Riverside... hopefully that was not the intended meaning? ;)

Bubbles, I love your name. Bubble is my favorite word. But, arrogance is everywhere. And NOBODY would want the physical upheaval of the UCLA campus, especially for its exile to Riverside...[shudder]. UCR does, however, have some very good programs(mainly ones few people are very interested in...), it's just not ranked so well overall. And UVa rocks!

Have I skipped around enough?

Haha, you guys can't touch stanford board's post count

yeah whats up with that? Stanford, Gtown, and MIT are the front-runners of the post count now. UCLA used to be owning on the old boards :)

we need to kick it up a notch... and make people come here for UCLA questions, not the other boards haha

bubbles, does the USNWR rankings make that much of a difference? is there such a wide gap between #3 and #4? why are good public schools arbitrarily cut off at top 3? i'd actually think that the differences between berkeley, michigan, virginia, and ucla are almost negligible.
