My chances on getting into UCLA or UC Berkley?
I'm a sophomore in high school living in California. :-)
Last year, my GPA was about a 4.2, and this year is a 4.1. Unweighted is about a 3.75. (I'm a little disappointed about this because I took less honors classes this year so my cumulative grade is lower) I'm only taking two honors classes this year because I freaked out during class registrations because I didn't want to be overwhelmed, consequently bringing my grades down.
My school is a college prep private school, and it's very intense compared to the other schools around my area. Example: my cousin goes to a private Catholic school that isn't college prep but it isn't fair because his honors class is easier than my normal class! I end up teaching him more things than he learns from his own teachers. His teachers are so incredibly laid back and because their school is so small, if a few students flunk a test, they will curve it as much as 40%, while my school is more professional and if the class flunked the test, well then, too bad so sad. I think it is so unfair that I work my butt off to get my 4.2 while he gets an easy 4.7 from turning in a few pieces of homework.

My classes this year:
Orchestra - A
Spanish - A
English II Honors - A
Chemistry - A
AP European History - B
Alebra II - A
All of my A's are 95%+

I'm the concertmaster (violin) of the school orchestra and have been playing in community orchestras since I was 10. I've entered various competitions and have won scholarships and awards, like the Carmel Bach Festival. Different orchestras and groups have recruited me to play for them via the school. I also play in my church and for the elderly in nursing homes and hospitals. I also plan on volunteering in hospitals ASAP. I currently have 90+ community service hours as a sophomore.

I'm working hard to achieve a good SAT score.

Is that competitive enough for a low acceptance school like UCLA or UC Berkley? I know they have a 20% something acceptance rate. I know nothing is for sure, but I would just really like to know what I'm doing wrong/right to get into my dream college! I'm extremely driven and would like your honest opinion on my chances. Thank you!

Also, what is the lowest SAT score I should get to get into UCLA? Of course I'm going to aim for a perfect score, but what is the minimum? Thanks!

Also, I would like your honest opinion. Please, I'd really like to know what I improve on. Thank you! :-)
