I have none unfortunately. I emailed them again yesterday morning but they haven’t responded.
This Monday is memorial day, maybe they took the weekend off for the holiday? That means we might not hear back by the middle of next week ):
This probably isn’t helpful, but I called them this morning. They said the same things they’ve been saying in their emails…new system…still deciding…you’ll hear from us soon.
They still haven’t responded to the email I sent 2 days ago. I assume it’s because they are either being bombarded with people asking them the same thing or they just don’t give a shit. What kind of new system are they implementing that takes more than a month to get together?
I just got a reply, I got chosen to be an alternate. Which means more waiting…I don’t know if I should be happy for that news

Well it’s not a rejection at least so that’s good. But unfortunate you still have to keep waiting.
Hey guys, I called yesterday and they told me that they are finishing with all the decisions and that we should hear from them “very soon”.
@Valartanimation Yeah like we haven’t all heard that for the last 6 weeks. They’ve just stopped responding to my emails at this point because I guess they finally wanted to stop lying or don’t want to admit they don’t know what they’re doing
@humamon I just received the alternate offer from them, I’m not happy about this either but it’s still not a rejection. Have they told you anything yet?
@Valartanimation no, but I dont expect to hear anything soon. We have to wait for people to turn down their admission, and who knows how long that could take.
How were you all notified of their decision? Did they send you an email/call or did you just check the website that shows your decision? I still haven’t heard anything and I’m legitimately starting to lose my mind
@Flaherty They sent me an email from someone in the department, it still says “undecided” on my appstatus, but they asked if I wanted to be considered an “alternate” ie waitlisted. Also sorry to hear that ): that is pretty ridiculous that they haven’t said a word to you yet.
@Flaherty I was notified by email about their alternate offer, yet the application status website still says the decision has not been made. @Humamon yep that happened the exact same thing to me.That was on June 7, I called them asking questions about the wait list and they didn’t want to tell me anything, they only said that I would be on the wait list until school starts unless someone decides not to go before that.
Also it breaks my heart to do this but I decided to go to another school. Next week I should receive all the documents from them to get my student visa. Animation Workshop was truly my dream school to go but I guess some dreams are not meant to be.
