UCLA, Berkeley, Amherst, McGill, UBC for pre-med?

<p>I've heard back from UCLA, Berkeley, Amherst, McGill (Canada), and UBC (Canada) so far, and I'm wondering which school of the five mentioned is more appropriate for students aspiring to be physicians?</p>

<p>I'm a Canadian citizen, but finance isn't a huge problem for me and my family.</p>

<p>My D goes to Yale School of Medicine with at least 3 kids from UBC and GA2012mom’s kid goes to Amherst and is applying this year. somemom knows a good bit about Cal as her kid graduated two years ago. I’ve already exhausted ny knowledge about UBC with my first line :wink: but I’m sure the other two would be happy to respond by pm or on this thread.</p>
