I've heard back from UCLA, Berkeley, Amherst, and McGill, (also probably UBC) so far, and I'm wondering which school of the four mentioned is more appropriate for students aspiring to be physicians?

I understand UCLA has a reputable hospital/med school on its campus as opposed to Berkeley and Amherst which have none, and that Amherst is an LAC. Would this make it strongly advisable for one to choose UCLA over the others?

Any college will do. Choose that one that fits you the best and preferrably the cheapest one.

I’m guessing UBC is going to be cheapest of my options. An addendum though, since UC’s/Amherst don’t seem to give credits for IB, I have to attend the full four years if I do head down south. But in Mcgill/UBC, I get a year off or so. Now I’m leaning more towards the Canadian option. Anyone care to give some insight on the issue? I have no idea what I should do.
