Does anyone know UCLA's reputation to investment banks with a Los Angeles office (and in general)? This is referring to UCLA's undergraduate major business economics.

........bump

not as reputated as Ross, McIntire............

but still good, big firms like MS, ML, JPMorgan DO go there to recruit.

but firms like lazard, greenhill, and GS may not.

Does one need to do Business Economics to do Investment Banking?

I'm thinking of going down the Mathematics and Economics road at UCLA and I thought that would be a little more practical. I'm not doubting Business Economics at UCLA of course, I'd like to get into the major myself but for now I seem to be leaning toward a double major in Mathematics and Economics.
