<p>I want to study business, but I have little hope for Haas. Would econ be okay for my undergrad and study business in MBA?</p>

<p>I have 3.8 GPA with outstanding ECs, internship, etc. Should I try for Haas or stay safe with their econ major? </p>

<p>try for Haas!! not that econ at cal is bad, but you should at least apply to haas.</p>

<p>ps econ would be just fine for undergrad then mba. i don't think theres much difference between cal and ucla for econ at the undergrad level, just go where you'd rather be in terms of surroundings, etc</p>
