<p>I’m nervous with the rest of you! My youngest D has applied to UCLA as well.</p>
<p>Californiapink - since D#2 is a current applicant, presumptively D#1’s has had a good experience at UCLA. Can you tell us a bit about that - good and bad, if any?</p>
<p>When decisions are out, how do you log in? With your UC ID? I assume there’s no password since there’s no account?</p>
<p>Ahhhh! Just spoke with another parent who was at a audition/interview information session, and they were told it was definitely March 15 that admission decisions would go out…UGH…I thought I would get used to this the third time around…nope, still sucks! At least it is before Cal and USC. Keep hoping for Friday!</p>

<p>D#1 is ecstatic about UCLA. I mean she’s almost giddy when I talk or text with her. She’s in TFT and it’s a very small group and you take most of your classes together = instant friends. Westwood is great and is walking distance to everything. She can’t get over all of the world class speakers, musicians, actors, etc… that come to campus and teach, perform and mentor. Her first day of school the creator of the show “24” welcomed them- how cool is that! Stephen Sondheim came for a public concert but “dropped in” beforehand to have a Q&A with a class. And I don’t think this is just her dept. I think this happens all over campus.</p>
<p>I think the downside may be for kids who are in huge departments, easy to get lost in the shuffle, don’t feel like anyone is looking out for them. We just have not had that experience…yet.</p>
<p>@ Californiapink (and really everyone): Arrgh! so Admissions isn’t Friday? Or is it possible that the other people were told 15th so they could be super happy on 11th? I was so excited for Friday
