Hi all, does UCLA prefer physics or chemistry for cs transfers? On the assist.org page it says one chemistry semester equivalent is required (in CS b.s. not eecs) but on the UCLA website it says full physics series is required. At the moment I may take chemistry for better gpa and aim for other schools since UCLA is hard to transfer to anyways
Physics may be slightly more applicable if you intend to go more into computer hardware or certain types of game software development. Chemistry may help of you go into development of chemical instruments and the like.
