UCLA data change form

So I filled out some information about adding a course that may be a pre-req for my major in the data change form on the UCLA site and submitted it. Turns out, I found out from the major department advisor, that the course isn't a pre-req because it's not equivalent to UCLA's course. Do I have to go through the trouble of submitting another data change form telling them that I won't be taking the course? On the site it just says to update the TAU, which I did. I feel like I am going in circles here if I e-mail them again telling them I won't be taking the class. I NEVER got a confirmation e-mail about my inquiry, maybe they never got it? or because it states specifically to just use the UC website for any information after Fall 2011. Anyone who submitted using this link get a confirmation email?

You might want to call them directly and ask. It’s probably the safest way to go.

I think I saw on the Davis site, or one of the UC’s, that if they don’t respond back that means there is no problem, ie. if there was a problem they’d respond and ask for clarification. I would do what LA said and call as it is past the priority deadline of the TAU and you don’t know if they are going to be looking at it any longer.
