UCLA e-mail spam?

i got a msg that offered me an online job. i searched the name of the person in the UCLA directory and she didn't show up! plus she said to "have a successful semester" so she def doesn't know that UCLA is on quarters. is this a stalker who stalks the student directory??

does anyone else get spam like this? is this spam? or did a dept at UCLA receive this e-mail?

that's one of the hundreds/thousands of spam to come. turn on your filter to get rid of them, but you'll still get spam that manages to trickle through

Maybe my filter has always been on, but I don't get any spam at my UCLA email o_O.

how do u turn on the filter for the ucla email?

Left-hand side of http://www.bol.ucla.edu "filter"

i clicked on enable, but it said that there are no filters found. hmm. i should go search that before i get yelled at. :/

You have to set your own "rules." I believe..at the top after you click "filters" you should see at button that says "new rule" on the right
