UCLA E-mail

Is it possible to forward all messages going to my ucla e-mail to my gmail account? IMO, the UCLA email has horrible format and options.

I know I can just use my gmail as the primary, but i am just wondering.

Yes, you can.

Click on Filters, then you'll see forward at the top.

I don't know why I didnt do it that way, but the other way I did it was by adding a new rule and saying that any mail that had the @ucla.com would be forwarded to my gmail account.

Yes.

Like Altema said, use the filter and forward your UCLA mail to your gmail.

Go to gmail and edit your account settings. Add the UCLA email address so that you can send it from _@ucla.edu

When forwarding all of your stuff from UCLA mail, do not keep your mail in the BOL account because if your box fills up, you won't received your forwarded messages.

There's always thunderbird, outlook and other e-mail programs.

Is there a way for me to reply to a forwarded message on yahoo mail with the _@ucla.edu address?

No.

Yahoo sucks.

Switch to gmail.

^4:57 AM

Gmail sucks in comparison to yahoo mail beta. :p

I'd be tempted to try Yahoo Mail, but I have yet to find a firefox addon like the one I have for Gmail

The addon basically puts a gmail indicator at the bottom of my firefox screen and updates it each 15 minutes. If I hover my mouse over the gmail account, I can see what new mail I have received without having to go to the mail page.

This way I don't have to keep logging onto my mail (typing my login since I don't like to save passwords on my computer) and this way I will know if I got something useless that I don't have to login for.
