I don't like the UCLA webmail client. Do you use other mail clients (like gmail) to accessyour UCLA.edu mails? Is there any special settings?

Sure. It’s IMAP. Any email client you find on your computer will work. (Here are the settings for your email client: [Bruin OnLine Email Accounts](http://www.bol.ucla.edu/services/email/)) I had never used the UCLA webmail unless I was away from my computer. (p.s. MyUCLA also has another webmail interface for UCLA mail. You can see if you like it better than the UCLA webmail.)

Any webmail client that can access external IMAP accounts will also work. You can alternatively set up UCLA mail to forward to another email address ([Forwarding your BOL Email Account](http://www.bol.ucla.edu/services/accounts/forwarding/)), so you can read all your UCLA mail there without accessing it directly (most people who use Gmail do this; you can also set the From address in Gmail to your UCLA address).

Thank you very much! I just did and it seems working. One more question, how to make ucla.edu as my primary email account? On the webmail login page, I clicked the button “Change Primary Account” and it does not do anything.

I remember I added my personal account as Primary account once. But now I do not know how to modify it. I suppose if I click “Change Primary Account”, it should first display my current primary account email and then ask me what I want to modify to. However, nothing happened after clicking the button. Is there any place that I can see what my primary account is?

Hi xxCollegesxx. What “Primary account” are you talking about? What site is this? Where do you see this?
