Does receiving the UCLA likely mean you are decently competitive at the college of engineering at Berkeley? How many likely-receivers did they reject in the past couple of years?

Let’s rephrase that for you.

You were accepted to UCLA after getting a likely. How are your chances at Berkeley?

Also, you applied for Engineering.

I want to know the same

Yeah me too. Just got accepted to Engineering at UCLA…Chances at UCB Engineering?

Two years ago, around thirteen of my friends got into UCLA engineering with a likely. Three of them were rejected from Berkeley and about ten of us were accepted. So I would say that your chances are pretty good, but not guaranteed.

Let’s completely ignore what statistics taught me and be optimistic with that 77% acceptance rate :D

fingers crossed

Singh Pajji, hope for us ;)

Funny thing is I was rejected from UCLA’s Engineering program but accepted to Cal for EECS. I’d say both occasions are independent (eww, more stats!) but here’s hoping there’s some correlation for you guys. In any case, good luck and if you make it in, welcome to the fam :)
