Idk if this helps, but one of my friends, who was originally going to UCB, received an extension for SIR at UCLA (he wasnāt waitlisted for ucla). He SIR-ed yesterday and withdrew from UCB. Maybe cases like these are delaying waitlist decisions?

STEM major here(Applied math) still didnāt get off. Also in-state.
Acceptances are going to continue through July and into August. We all still have a chance.
Tricky part is waves will get smaller and smaller and less consistent. So we all have a chance still but every day that chance gets slimmer.
How do u know that they will extend admission till August this year?
A lady from admissions told me; she specifically said acceptances would continue into mid-August.
