These statistics will be finalized in November 2006.

I represent the UCLAers that had higher SAT I/SAT II/ACT scores and lower GPAs. ;)

where can i find these profiles for each of the UCs?

There will be a UC system-wide PDF document showing admission statistics for all UCs posted pretty soon on the University of California website. Check this URL for "Fall 2006... admissions" in a few weeks. http://www.ucop.edu/news/studstaff.html

Keep in mind that the average GPA/SAT figures are for those admitted to UCLA, not those actually attending. The avg stats for admitted students are always higher than the stats for the student body because more than half of admitted students don't actually attend (our yield rate is approx 42% I think).

Average SAT I total score: 2010
Average SAT II subject scores: 733, 681

OMG. My SAT I score was 2010. My US history score was 730 and Bio M score was 680. No. freaking. joke.

Number of semesters got decreased every year because of religious studies classes (I go to a private school), or else I'd have 53. Yay for my essays!

And Yay for essays! :)

I have a feeling it has something to do with the "neo" part of our names. ;)

wow...amazing..ucla is only a dream for me?????

wow admissions gone up. Flopsy you know how many are going to attend from that 12k that were accepted.

They usually shoot for a class size of between 5000 and 6000. (I forget the exact number, but I think its closer to 5000)

rejected from ucla :( but got into cal so w/e :D

yea gpa alot lower, sat kinda higher, esp sat2s, honor is prob less

I was significantly higher in every one of those categories, but I was rejected OOS.

According to the acceptance letter, approximately 4,600 students will attend.
That makes UCLA's yield rate ~38.07%.

I'd just like to point out that Fall 2006 is the first year where UCLA's out-of-state admissions rate is actually higher than its in-state admissions rate (27.05% versus 25.57%). Perhaps the out-of-state applicant pool is finally being recognized as being more qualified than the in-state applicant pool. Could this be the end of preference for California residents?

no by california law uc's are mandated to have 87.5 percent of admits from california. I think California should only blue states to apply, heh. Sorry Texas.
