UCLA financial aid problems.

I just created an URSA account today (because of the financial aid/admission status frenzy) and found that my financial aid status was incomplete. I checked financial aid document tracking and found that there was a "citizenship mismatch" and that the appropriate documents had not been received.

After some research, I realized that the mismatch is the result of a mistake that I made on FAFSA concerning my citizenship status. I submitted the correction today. However, does this mean that my financial aid priority (having submitted prior to March 2nd) is no longer existent?

I'm sure it's fine. You might want to call the customer service number listed on the FAFSA website just for piece of mind. I wasn't expecting great service when I called earlier about a different issue, but I was actually surprised.

I say give FAFSA a call. At the very least they'll just tell you to call the financial aid office at the schools you applied to. Good luck!
