Lol at the announcer bashing the Coliseum turf...anyone else catch that?

no, what did he say?

seriously the whole place was waaaaaay too muddy. my poor guard uniform and shoes T_T

So, Dorrell got fired today.

SGVTribune.com - UCLA fires football coach Karl Dorrell

The news about Dorrell getting fired kinda almost makes up for the depressing i-wanna-cry Texas game...

guess he's not going to the las vegas bowl then.

anyone gonna go? personally i'm gonna be on vaction elsewhere, and i don't even plan to watch the game!

Damn, I know we've all been pulling for it thus far but actually seeing it materialize makes me kinda sad. Poor Dorrell, stand up guy..

HAHAHA! Thank you for this, would read again!

Lol, what?

I mean, he is the nicest and most well-mannered coach I've seen. Am I in the wrong for saying that?

Eh...nice and well mannered =/= stand up guy. I remember everytime he would blame so and so for the loss...I think a stand up guy would have the integrity to accept the blame as he's the head coach, not throw players under the wheels as he did numerous times.

Did he? I remember him blaming only himself on quite a few occasions after losses or whatever. Oh well, whatever, he's gone anyway..

Haha, Bruce Davis was at the undie run tonight. He was faded and dancing around as I was a couple feet from me. Good times, only at UCLA..

Man... he's always at undie run. I saw brandon braezell (sp) leaving campus in his truck on top of 22's.

What do you guys think of the new coach, Rick Neuheisel?

very, very good man for the job. infact, he's perfect. i'm sure neuheisel will bring some glory back to UCLA football.

How does Walker's potential leaving impact the UCLA recruiting?

Really? Walker did a good job with the defense, IMO.

it looks like he's staying along with a couple of position coaches

Pretty much, most of the defensive coaching staff is staying, mainly because they're the only part that has acted like a real team.

I'm a little cautious on RH. I wanted Peterson but believe that RH was the "best" of the mediocre candidates we had available.

Norm Chow hired as offensive coordinator for UCLA, says sources close to Chow, who told ESPN.
