1) GoldEN Bears.
2) Season's not over yet - there's a good chance we'll tie for 3rd with Oregon if Oregon State wins next week and we beat UDub (oh dear god, please let us beat UDub, the worst team ever).

Holiday and Emerald Bowls to look forward to as well.

Gold bears lol.

Best case scenario is Oregon St. beats Oregon, clinching a Rose Bowl. USC earns an at-large bid to a BCS bowl, and if we tie with Oregon for 3rd we would advance to the Holiday Bowl because we beat them head to head. Does anyone know if they will sell student tickets to the our bowl game?

Holiday Bowl would be great, unless we play Texas or Texas Tech, because God knows that they'll beat us by 70 in the first quarter. If we have to play a Big 12 team, I'm hoping for Missouri. Otherwise, I'd like to play Notre Dame.

No, there are no student tickets offered. It's just general admission, priced at different prices based on seating area.

I am in love with our defensive team, just not our offense.

Our defense pwns, but our offense not so much...

On an end note, we have made TONS of progress from last year

lol

Brain fart. When you have a baby on the way, your brain plays tricks on you. Thanks!

I love da Bears regardless.

I don't know, I think we could have our hands full even with Missouri. They are good, remember they are led by Chase Daniel after all. But I guess it's better than facing Texas or Texas Tech and getting embarrassed in the national stage.

You know what I would really like to watch, USC vs. Texas, Texas Tech, or Oklahoma.

The future looks bright for Cal Football. We have a young team and most of the starters will return. In addition, Allan Brigford, a top quarterback prospect from Mission Viejo will join the team. We will have some holes to fill, primarily at linebacker.

Awwww crap Jacquizz Rodgers is out for the OSU-Oregon game.

That quarterback for Oregon, Jeremiah Masoli, went to the same high school as I did. I actually took Spanish 3-4 class with that guy. Never knew at that time he would turn out to be a starting quarterback for Oregon Ducks.

Bridgford is a solid prospect, but QB is far from our biggest need. Brock Mansion apparently has even more talent than Riley--it should be interesting to see who starts next year.
More exciting is the pickup of Steve Williams (a top 10 CB), who decommitted from Oklahoma, since Syd graduates next year...
Honestly though, our defense is going to be fantastic next year. LB isn't the hardest position to pick up; it's kind of a 'plug and play' sort of position. Besides, Mohamed and Young were really starting to step up toward the end of the season.

Losing Mack, Follett, etc. will hurt. Alot. I think there's a video somewhere composed of highlights, where Mack demolishes whoever he's blocking (sometimes more than one person).

But perhaps next year our offensive line won't be so ridiculously beat up that we'll be relying on third-stringers for much of the season. I'm excited to see what happens under center (apparently, Sweeney isn't too shabby either. So we have Riley vs Mansion vs Sweeney vs Bridgeford...). Looking forward to Saturdays in the fall, to quote someone on BearInsider forums.

Bah, Oregon beat Oregon State. What bowl are we headed to now provided we beat Washington?

Emerald, probably.

And losing Mac will hurt, but Guarnero is good--the only reason he didn't start was because he had the best center in the country ahead of him :P

Just saw this today: In classroom, Bears must finish what they start
