I was very pleased to hear of the Texas demolition, as I absolutely despise that team.

Ha, today I brought my tv out to the longue so we could watch the game while studying and a girl in a Longhorns jersey smugly walked through because I guess she thought she was funny. Her walk of shame back with priceless :)

^Haha. Honestly, we deserve a spot in the AP Poll. Two top 25 teams- in 2 weeks.
They have to print a Bruins-Texas shirt.

I don’t think this team should be ranked yet. It’s hard to dismiss how bad the Stanford loss was, and Texas probably isn’t the team they’ve been the last 6 years.

If they’re 4-2 after the Cal game, then maybe.

Such a great game. I’m taking each win one day at a time. This is the biggest victory in at least the past 3 years

A 22-point win is quite impressive for 27 yards of total passing. (Sorry, but if I had to select a quarterback to lead a game-winning drive, Kevin Prince would not be my first choice.) However, in my opinion, the point differential should have been far greater. (I watched the second quarter while I was on the treadmill.)

I wouldn’t get my hopes up. 8 pass attempts and only 27 yards is just disgusting.

we played well
but texas had costly turnovers
13-3 with less than a hundred total yards in first half

second half we dominated no questions asked

texas is good for barbeque…that is top ten for sure…

I don’t think that’s a huge issue. Right now we’re a running team. It would be great if there were a passing threat, but the offense as it is is reasonable.

So we got votes! We’ve probably had a tougher schedule than a lot of people give credit for - both losses came to undefeated teams, both wins over ranked teams… Opponents’ combined record of 14-2 (12-0 in games not against us), and PAC-10 doesn’t get any easier. Still 3 ranked teams to go through, and Cal is never easy while Washington can be a threat as well. Heck, even Oregon State is going to be a tough win.
