UCLA Freshman admit day?

Oh really, yay! That means I can give them a call tomorrow.

Hope all goes well!

anyone know about an overnight program at ucla??

Not sure about overnight program, but I’m going to admit day mid-April :)

The admit day you are going to is it only for the college of letters and science students??

I am not positive about this but in our experience (my daughter is currently a sophomore) she did not receive any info on a college admit day. On the left where everyone says to click events for new bruins there was nothing there. Maybe it is just for certain majors. She is in the college of letters and science. What is very important to go to is orientation which you can begin signing up for around June 1. We did visit the school in May after she was accepted and did another tour with many other admitted students. She spent the night in the dorms with a friend from our hometown who was a freshman at the time. To my knowledge UCLA doesn’t have the same type of elaborate admit day that some smaller schools may have. Call the admission office for clarification.

For Engineering, I received emails from UCLA about an open house for the school of engineering. It’s on the 10th and you had to RSVP by the 1st.
I don’t see anything about an Admit Day on my decision page, so I’m assuming its just for the School of Letters and Science.

Does anyone know where to meet when you first get there to sign in at College Day?

Covel Commons. Which is right next to Bruin Cafe, which means nothing to you if you aren’t familiar with UCLA. Otherwise, look up a campus map online.

Anyone going to admit day on Monday, April 12th.

^^ Wasn’t that where we met for Orientation? When I went for College Day last year, we parked near the Tom Brady place and went into De Neve (just in time for a continental breakfast…)

Tom Brady place?

lol. Meant Tom Bradley (International Hall). Always thought it was a little weird for them to name a place after a football player who’s still alive. xD

and went to UMich … as opposed to a 20-year LA mayor that briefly attended UCLA :)

That’s a funny looking building
