Hey i was just wondering if going to admit day alone is weird or anything. I live in NJ and My parents are going to be busy and the only way i can go is alone. Do other students go to college admit day alone or does everybody bring a parent? I know this is sort of a dumb concern but i would just feel out of place if i was the only one there by myself while everybody else has their parents.

Well admit day is meant for both you and your parents to visit the school and experience what i would be like here. Most people do bring their parents but i have seen people without parents. Basically its an event to inform you about ucla/tour the college. I personally think you should visit if you are still deciding between a couple of colleges but if you are sure ur going to UCLA, then dont waste money for admit day. Just come to orientation.

I’m just making sure it’s normal to bring parents to orientation. I should…right?

Parents don’t go to orientation (except for 1 day, which is a special section for parents).

However, parents should go to the Engineering Open House, if that’s what you’re talking about. They should be there to help you decide whether you want to attend UCLA or not.

when is UCLA admit day? Is it those special sessions u have to pay 10 dollars for?

For past attendees of a UCLA admit day, do we (attendees) get anything? Small bags of stuff that have the UCLA logo plastered on every inch?

is admit day the same thing as college day?? i am guessing it is. anyways, i am goign to college day with just my friends
