So I'll be apply as an Econ major to UCSD, SDSU and Biz @ UCR and History major @ UCLA and Berkely. I was wondering if I get straight A's on all my classes which I currently have and feel I can accomplish with my other reamaing classes what would my chances be. Browsing through the UCLA transfer stats I see that History major have a GPA of 3.6-3.7. I taking all the classes required by ucla under the assist agreement and other classes like Chem, calc, and physics to show that I'm an all round student aswell. So that being said with some EC's, solid essay and 3.9 GPA would my chances at UCLA be pretty legit? Plus If I apply under history, am I stuck there?

All that really matters is major prerequisites and GPA. If you’ve got all History prereqs done with a 3.9, you’re in good shape. If you also have TAP, you’re practically as safe as can be.
