im still able to access the housing app…jane its okayyy =) could u see any of this stuff last year?

Yay! I can see mine, too!

Financial Aid Summary: Yes
Tracking: Yes
Housing: Yes

Under housing, you should able to see this after you passed the 6 steps mentioned by the thread opener.

University ID: YOUR UCLA ID
Status: Transfer Student (T)
Applying for: Academic Term Drop Down Box Here

Okay, I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news…

but I can get to the housing page you guys are talking about as a graduate student, and obviously I am not a grad student.

I really don’t think this housing rumor is anything to be taken seriously.

randolph -
I just applied to LA, SB, and SD. I really only applied to SD and LA to see if I could get in, as I was told over and over that I was a definite for UCSB (I’m transferring from Santa Barbara City College, and I’m even cross enrolling classes at UCSB, my GPA there is a 3.8 based on the one A- I just got). The problem is I’m still pending across the board.
I spoke with a lady at the UCSB admissions office for a while yesterday and she said they hadn’t even began to look at my application yet because the one woman in charge of all engineering transfers is swamped. That was somewhat of a relief, but a friend who has literally taken identical classes as me for the last 3 years at SBCC, with the same GPA, was accepted in the first batch for both UCSD and UCSB, so I’ve had quite the rage for the last month waiting.

Ev-ie darling i was a dumb kid last year, i didnt do any of the “cool hacks”

sooo dumb. :(

i dont know what to think about all of this… UGH please let today be the day!

I can see the housing thing too

i get this:

You have encountered an error on the page. If you have already submitted credit card information DO NOT use the back button or attempt to make additional payments. This could result in duplicate payments.

Please hit the Submit Error button below to notify the helpdesk so we can fix your problem.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

i tried 2 times

I can’t see the housing thing but here is the beyond simple logic for those of you that can…OBVIOUSLY it is a good indicator because the fact that you can get past an error message that says “we are unsure of your status” means that they are NOT unsure of your status…why on Earth would they let you go through with housing when they are sure of your status in terms of you DIDN’T get in…that makes no sense…so if logic doesn’t fail in this world, and if you can see the housing app, it means they are sure of your status and you got in

update:

so at first i got the unsure of your admission (on my iPhone - just saying)

Now I’m getting the other error:
You have encountered an error on the page. If you have already submitted credit card information DO NOT use the back button or attempt to make additional payments. This could result in duplicate payments.

So it looks bad for me, but I’m not gonna give up hope just yet. But if you were able to apply, I’d say that you’re in. Why wouldn’t you be?

@sandaboy What if “sure” means they have only reached a decision, but it doesn’t necessarily mean the good one? Hahaha. Just playing the devil’s advocate here. Although it wouldn’t make much sense either since I wouldn’t know why they would let rejected applicants access housing.

Moral of the story: we’ll find out in ten days.

This is what I got. Not sure what it means, but it does not look good.

What major are you?

I have absolutely nothing either (No FA tracking or housing) and I’m sociology. Don’t know if that makes a difference. (I’m hoping it does lol) Maybe they’ve only made some decisions and aren’t done yet?

@lustrous looks like a lot of people are getting that now, even those that saw the app before

I get the same error message as you lustorous

@ Lustrous

I’m getting the new error as well…I wan’t even able to access the app before though…

I think UCLA admissions has caught on to this ;)

so recap:
i can’t see my fafsa, my document tracking (i only updated my FAFSA to include UCLA like 4 days ago), and I can’t apply for housing.

Hopefully not being able to see housing is directly correlated to not having your FAFSA info available. Other than that, I’m pretty much doomed.

My stats were pretty good, but UC to UC transfers aren’t really priorities i spose.

UCI Business Econ
3.86 GPA cumulative
Prereq’s done by the end of this quarter
Essays were decent
I had an internship and worked at disneyland during my first year, but haven’t had a job since and haven’t really been involved on campus since its a commuter school and its a bit harder. Oh wellz. Anyone in the same boat as me?

Even the ones that saw the app before? That is some what of a relief I guess. Still, I wish they would just post decisions, lol.
