I tried applying but it says I'm ineligible.

Anyone else having problems?

I tried applying but it says I'm ineligible.

Anyone else having problems?

same here.

you probably need to submit the sir and whatnot

Already submitted the SIR and got the e-mail.

No luck

You probably have to wait a couple of days.

yeah, you gotta wait. when it shows up on myUCLA, i guess we can try again then.

What are the housing option anyway?

on campus dorm or apartments.

go to UCLA Housing and you can see your options. it's all very odd.

De Neve Plaza for me, thank you very much.

the 6th picture of the blue high rise looks nice, anyone know the name of that building?

WOW it feels good to be apart of this thread

Is housing at UCLA on a rolling basis?

The school received by SIR. I could further access the housing website. I want to stay at De Neve as well.

Does anybody have recommendations on which dorms are better?

it's a toss up for me between De Neve Plaza and Reiber Vista.

I just submitted my housing (hoping to get the best options) and i'm afraid you don't get to pick by building. You only get to pick by room preference. I picked Plaza first, then Suites then Halls.

But I've spoken to some UCLA transfers and they say that you don't really get what you want. Often people that wanted on campus end up getting apartments off campus.

I like De Neve b/c it's nice and new. but I like Reiber Vista b/c it's close to the campus shuttle and it has a laundry facility.

Check out the housing website and see what tickles your fancy.

Lol why do we have to include a picture of ourselves on the housing app?

i think so our roommates can see it... i honestly don't know, haha.

do they give you your preference on a first come first served basis(the first people to fill out the app are the ones who get their first preference, etc)? or is it all random.

I think it's a more-or-less random assignment according to your preferences as long as you get the application in by the due date. I'm not sure at all though, can anyone confirm?

what exactly do they mean by "theme"? i don't see this explained anywhere.

you can find it on the UCLA website.

it's like a Culture theme, Women's theme... something like that. i'm not sure if that's UCLA, i think that was CSUN when my sister went there.

hahahaha "women's theme", what the hell does that mean?
