yesterday, i signed up for an account on my.ucla.edu and picked an ID. is this ID going to be my permanent ID if I make it in? if it is, is there any way i can change it?
i picked something really super stupid, cuz i was in a rush to check...</p>
<p>nope. they're not changeable. at least they didn't used to be, they recently changed around the online id process. but i think whatever you pick is what you get.</p>
<p>argh. omg, that sucks. if i do decide to go there, that will be my ID for the next 4 years? and isnt that my email address too? oh goodness</p>
<p>Out of curiosity, were you able to check once you did all that?</p>
