Hey frosh! I made something you may find useful:
[UCLA/goto/[/url]

It's a map application (browse to it from your mobile phones) to quickly find buildings in UCLA and help you navigate our confusing campus. Just bookmark it for quick access!

If you are already a student and would like to make this better, there are three ways to help:
1. If you find any issues, leave a message here. This is nowhere near done.

I get all the data from open street maps. So, if you find missing buildings or things that you think should be in there, please add the to open street maps. Also let me know if it's urgent, and I can add it in.

If you are computer nerd: the "application" is fully client-side javascript. You can fork it and/or send me patches.

Thanks. I know I got lost for the first couple of weeks in UCLA. I might be taking away the fun of being lost, but I can assure you maps can come in handy :)

P.S. I'm not sure this still works, but give it a shot once you decide to come to UCLA and need to buy books in september: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-los-angeles/389016-isbn-trick.html](http://www.0x72.com/uclagoto/index.html)

Good luck!
