UCLA Math Diagnostic- Required for Life Science Majors?

Hi, I’m an incoming freshman to UCLA and I wanted to ask about the math diagnostic test. I understand that they provide information on the website, but I personally feel that they’re not very clear on what groups don’t have to take the test. I will be a pre-psychobiology major when I enter the school, and I wanted to know whether it’s required for life science majors to take the math diagnostic?

From what I remember only students attempting to enroll in Math 31A have to take it. Idk of those trying to enroll in Ls30A have to. Basically it doesn’t matter what major you are but whether you are trying to take a certain class. Only some math classes require the math diagnostic test.
