Hi all,
I got a C in my E&M course in community college and I was wondering if you guys knew what would be the likely hood of that messing up my application. Other than that I got only 1 B and the rest A’s. As far as the major requirements I have taken and their grades:
Mechanics: A
Differential equations: A
E&m: C
General chemistry 1: A
Java programming: B

Just do your best the rest of the way, apply anyway and wish for the best…
I already applied but I received the C afterwards. I’m just wondering how likely it is or if anyone knew someone in a similar circumstance.
I don’t know anyone in this situation, but I am sure this is not unique. A “C” never looks good when trying to get admitted to a highly sought after and elite school (engineering) like UCLA, UCB, Stanford, USC or Cal Tech. Hopefully, you applied to other schools as a back up plan in case things don’t work out with UCLA. Good luck!
