Honestly, missing one pre-req shouldn’t be that big of a deal… especially a class like Econ. Ugh, worst class I’ve ever taken. But don’t worry! Things will work out the way they’re supposed to. And plus, I’ve still got my USC decision to turn to just in case Westwood doesn’t want me in the fall Are you still waiting for any other schools?

@jmk7: That’s what I’m hoping for! Wow, you got into Annenberg? Congrats! I’ve heard amazing things about the program. I did not apply for USC for financial reasons, but I am still waiting for Cal and SD. Did you apply for Cal media studies?

Ah no, I did not get in Annenberg! I applied, but USC probably won’t release decisions until mid-May. The wait is ridiculous! I can’t even imagine waiting another month for my last decision. I didn’t apply for media studies at Cal though I absentmindedly browsed through the list of majors, and after seeing that “Communication” wasn’t on it, I decided not to apply. Silly me. I got into UCSD with TAG, but I’m not very excited about it. My best friend goes to USC, so I was just hoping I would somehow end up in LA fingers crossed

@jmk7: Ah, I see. I’m dying just waiting for LA’s decision (and Cal’s in 9 days) so I can’t imagine how crazy I would get if I had to wait another month! I was confused about Cal’s media studies major, but I found out that it used to go by another name. I’m sure you’ll either get into USC or LA (if not both!) - it’s funny, I wouldn’t mind going to Cal. I suppose it’s because I’m from LA, so a change of scenery would be nice, and seeing as how you’re from San Jose, maybe that’s how you feel as well? Also, maybe the excitement from UCSD’s acceptance hasn’t sunk in yet because UC decisions aren’t over with yet. SD’s comm program is great!

Hey guys! A representative from UC Berkeley made it clear that the mail from the Cal Student Store had no relation with admission decisions. Don’t freak out if you didn’t receive one!

"Hello, everyone, I am representing UC Berkeley’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and I wanted to clear up this issue. OUA was made aware of this mailer from the Cal Student Store. This communication, intended for newly-admitted freshmen, does not affect nor have any relation to transfer admission decisions, which will be released on April 27, 2012.

Official admission decision notifications are only available through the myBerkeleyApplication student portal at: myBerkeleyApplication : Berkeley

Good luck to all of our transfer applicants and Go Bears!"

All my friends who go to Cal, love it! They say everyone is laid back and very friendly. There are a lot of great eateries in the area too And yeah, I’ve been living in NorCal basically my entire life so I want a change in scenery as well. I actually attended UCSB for fall 2010 but didn’t end up liking it too much so I decided to come back home and transfer from a CCC. Now I’m kind of wishing I never left hahaha. Thanks! I guess I’ll be more excited about UCSD once I go visit or something Here’s to hoping we both get into LA + you into Cal and me into USC! (You’ll get into them, no worries)

Use the form on the ucla website for work prior to fall even though it’s past fall. I did that, and then I called ucla to make sure they received and processed my changes. :)

So what time should we check? And is this date even for sure? I’m just skeptical because of the decisions that are uber late… cough… UCI… cough.

I applied ucla with applied math major. It’s one of the most prestigious majors in UCLA. My GPA is just ok, so I am so worried about Friday. I applied to UCB as well, but UCLA is my favorite.
