Mine is showing up the same as bear and philo! how exciting everyone! i really hope thats a good sign… fingers crossed :)

:OO! I found it!

This is what I see:

Summary 2012-2013 Academic Year

Housing Status: On-Campus
Financial Aid File Status: Complete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $32,781.00
Student Contribution: $0.00
Parent Contribution: $0.00
Total Financial Need: $32,781.00

Does this indicate anything? :O.

@asphyxiac Yes, I heard Biochem and any other science major other than Chem is highly impacted! Not sure, I could be wrong though. Anyway, we’re all gonna find out for sure this Friday of the decision!! :)

@iDizzle
oh no, i chose newly admitted. yeah baby.

^^ I think Bear is talking about when you click “View financial aid document tracking”

Mine says the same.

@steff it means you’re most likely accepted. I’ve searched through threads dating back to 08 and they all say the same thing

:O! Ahhh this is exciting!! Well… I don’t want to get my hopes up yet… I guess I’ll wait til Friday for confirmation. Best of luck everyone!!

For my Financial Aid Summary, it says “You do not have a Financial Aid Summary for this Award Period.” Is this because I didn’t submit a fafsa?

@inflight, yes, that is why. I have the same thing because I didn’t submit a fafsa. unfortunately, we won’t be able to tell from financial aid whether or not it is likely we got in. you know, until decisions come out on Friday :)

@philosoup

how does this look?

Housing Status: Commuter
Financial Aid File Status: Incomplete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $24,303.00
Student Contribution: $0.00
Parent Contribution: $0.00
Total Financial Need: $24,303.00

When we create a UC ID, does it need to be something secretive? Or can we just make it our name? I was just going to make it my name, unless it needs to be something that people shouldn’t ever see or shouldn’t be able to guess…

@mcnick You can just make it your name! As long as you put in the correct UCLA iD given to you

@groovy looks good as well. incomplete usually means you need to figure something out with the ucla financial aid office. but to see that usually means that you are admitted

I see what everyone else sees, but I just made some corrections to my FAFSA yesterday (my mom FINALLY procured her 1040 for me), so it says the same as everyone else’s except under Financial Aid File Status it says Incomplete. :P

I wonder if SIMPLY SEEING this thing is a good thing, or if the fact that mine says Incomplete is bad. xP

read above, mcnick! :)

Oh, didn’t see Philo’s last response. That’s good news. I am still going to have to wait until Friday to be certain about it; I suppose this is sort of a relief, though. Good luck everyone! I would say make sure to post about your acceptance!, but I am sure that’s a given. lol.

philo says that we can have his collegeconfidential account if those of us with financial aid awards don’t get admitted on friday I think everyone is fairly confident that it is a good sign!

Wow. Even those of us whose Financial Aid File Status was Incomplete? That is such amazing news. I hope Philo’s right - for all our sakes!

The fact that they bothered to upload your fafsa info is a good enough sign to be honest. As I’ve said before, people that were able to see it last yr and so on were accepted.

I don’t understand why more people are NOT seeing their financial if it really means that your accepted…maybe it’s cus theyre not posting?

^ I’m wondering the same! It almost seems too good to be true T___T. I cannot wait til FRiday. AKLSDGHALKSHG I can’t even focus right now cause I’m so antsy right now!
