i am having trouble deciding btwn 2 different schools: ucla and wellesley college. ucla has a bigger int'l name and is more difficult 2 get in but at wellesley i'll have more attn and would less likely be drowning under bureaucratic mess. i'm out of state so i'll be paying about the same $.

i feel that i fit in both campuses and type of ppl too. any current bruins who would like to share any stories picking btwn ucla and wellesley, by chance?

I picked between UCLA and LACs as well last year. UCLA is going to be a harder overall experience but more rewarding. You have to work for everything here, get past the bureaucratic red tape, but you have greater connections and greater success. At a LAC you can't go very far.*

*You can still be extremely successful in life/career at an LAC, but UCLA gives you a better shot and more growth

You will get a great education at either place. It all depends on what you want in a college, what the costs will be, what majors are offered at the college, and travel restrictions you may have. Make a list of the things that are most important to you, and then sort them out accordingly.
