<p>Hey, I'm a high school senior and I got into both UCLA and Virginia Tech for mechanical engineering (that should explain all the spelling errors I make in writing this) and I was wondering which one I should attend. I would like to point out that I live in the North-East so for both colleges I would be paying out of state tuition but Virgina Tech would be much closer. So, what do you guys think I should do?</p>
<p>I would choose UCLA if instate for CA. If you are in VA though, much more affordable option I am guessing (unless you qualify for a lot of needed aid), The OOS price tag on CA schoos is too much for most families. Great schools, good luck.</p>
<p>If you’re having to pay OOS tutition for both, then I’d rather you choose UCLA.</p>
