Well the only reason I asked is because the UCLA Orientation Site states:

"The session concludes with enrolling in your Fall Quarter classes."

Maybe they just put that so students will actually come to orientation and pay the extra $. lol Who knows? I'm still going to go either way, but it would be nice to know exactly what I am supposed to accomplish there.

So is it possible to sign up for you classes without going to orientation assuming you know which classes you can sign up for? The closer orientation is the less I wanna go especially when the counselors aren't helpful and frankly I need $500 for housing.

Well obviously not ALL students are going to be able to make it to orientation so it likely is possible to sign up for your classes online. The only question is, does going to orientation give you priority for signing up? I'm going to be irritated if I go and can't sign up for anything though.

if i don't go to orientation.. how can i sign up for my classes. im a psychobiology major and i am worried that all the classes I need will be filled up.

Well as a UCLA student, you always sign up for your classes through URSA, but you might want to contact them and let them know you will not be going so you can find out when you can register for classes.

i’m not going to any of the orientations this summer for ucla, does anyone know specifically what i have to do to sign up for classes?
I called the orientation folks and they said something about the appointment but the girl wasn’t clear.
