<p>I don’t think you have to actually submit your tax return, you just have to go to fafsa.ed.gov and update your tax section. That’s what I did and my ucla fao now says completed.</p>

<p>right now it is an ePAL (provisional award letter) and it turns into an eFAN, but i dont know how we get it into that…hmm</p>

<p>When I filed my fafsa, I wrote my actual earnings under estimated earnings because I already had my W-2 form. So the only thing I updated a few days ago was “Will file” to “Already filed” on fafsa.ed.gov and my earnings remained unchanged. So I’m assuming my actual FiAid will be the same as my provisional award.</p>

<p>It says after you submit your SIR, the FiAid office will start your fiaid process and request any additional info as needed. The eFAN will be available on MyFAO before the fall quarter and you will be notified by email with the exact break down…</p>
