UCLA Posse finalist- what questions to expect?

I'm a posse finalist for UCLA (a leadership scholarship for a full-tuition paid acceptance) and my final interview is in about two weeks. The email they sent said it would be a group interview and I'm wondering what to expect question-wise? Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks!

Hello,

I was a Posse Finalist for Syracuse University Posse 2, however, I wasn’t chosen to be a part of that. Our group interview was about a month ago, and I was more than unprepared for the questions they gave me. A lot of questions will revolve around yourself as a person. You have a limited amount of time to answer each question, so get to the point (something I wish I would have done better). They will ask you questions such as “What defines the kind of person you want to be?” “Describe the kind of neighborhood you come from?” “If you had to meet on person in the world, who would it be and why?” “What impact do you think UCLA will have on you and what impact do you think you will have on it?” (That last one is probably one of the more important ones.) “What present social issue or political issue are you familiar with?” (I’m not sure I worded that correctly, however, the people before me–they interview you in groups and you take turns listening to eachother-- talked about bullying and the unfortunate Connecticut shooting which were both on my list to talk about so by the time it was my turn I was almost out of words. Make sure you know what’s going on! Another big question is: “What are you most passionate about and how is x college going to help you achieve etc etc.” Make sure you know yourself.

In it all, I cannot emphasize more on just be yourself. My problem was overconfidence. I came unprepared. If you’d like to talk more I’d be happy to help.
If not, goodluck!

That was incredibly helpful, thank you so much! I’m sorry to hear you didn’t receive the scholarship, but out of curiosity, where you still accepted into Syracuse?
And I may take you up on the offer to continue talking as more questions arise, thank you!

My pleasure.

I was accepted to SU, sadly not to the NH school I (only) applied for. Instead I was put into the college of arts of science–which is beyond me on how they made that decision. I’m trying to stay as optimistic as possible.

I only mentioned a third of the interview (Yes, there’s a lot more to it.), so I’d love to discuss this further if you wish.

Apparently I’m not allowed to send you a message on this site unless I’ve posted at least 15 times. Do you mind if I email you instead? I want to be as prepared as possible and you’re being incredibly helpful!

Hi, I know this was last year, But I have my Posse interview coming up this week and I’m starting to really get nervous because I really want this. I was wondering if you have any advice, any tips, and if you could tell me more about what to expect.

Thanks

Hi! I am also a posse finalist contender and would greatly appreciate it if you could give me an insight of what goes on in the last interview. If you could please email me at lorepaz70@gmail.com . thanks!:)

Hey I wanted to ask about what answers did people give to what kind of neighborhood you come from? I am confused on what kind of answer to give. It would be great if anyone could help me.

Hello, any Posse finalists still active? I have my first interview in 2 weeks and I would like to know more about it.
