<p>Hey everyone, I've recently been admitted to ucla but one of their provisional requirements is to not get any C's in major classes. I am a biology major and am at risk of receiving a C in organic chemistry. I have a 3.68 gpa currently but this C would drop it to about 3.54. How much do you think this will affect my chances of keeping my admission?</p>
<p>From previous threads, there is a 50 percent your admission will be rescinded.</p>
<p>Talk to your professor and explain to them your situation, but in doing so also take responsibility and acknowledge that you could’ve done better. Show effort and start showing up to their office hours.</p>
<p>There must be some sort of a dispensation for organic chemistry since I do not think it is possible to get a grade higher than a C in that course.</p>
