<p>How hard is it to transfer to UCLA and get into this major? </p>

<p>What factors matter more?</p>

<p>It’s highly impacted and difficult to get into. Most important factors are GPA and completion of prereqs and IGETC.</p>

<p>I noticed that alot of people apply to this major… would you guys say that they all have pretty much have the same stats?</p>

<p>What’s important:

  1. Transferrable GPA
  2. Major Pre-Req GPA
  3. Completion of courses through IGETC or another articulation guideline
  4. Completion of 60-70 UC-transferrable units from your community college</p>

<p>What can help:

  1. Extra Curriculars
    a. Phi Theta Kappa, Honors Society
  2. TAP Certification</p>

<p>What to aim for:

  1. GPA above last year’s admission grade point average for psychology, which was 3.62</p>
