Those of you who know me, know I love to post helpful links :)

So with the Fall 2010 schedule out today (Schedule of Classes Home Page) We are all beginning to look at the schedule and pick our classes. At CC I used ratemyprofessor to pick all my classes, as im sure a lot of you did too.

Second, this is a website similar to ratemyprofessor especially for UCLA, that even has grade distribution and what the average grade in the class was. Hope this helps you fellow Bruins.

do you guys know what the deal is with what classes were allowed to take that isnt for our major?? Is it a free for all, but people in the major get priority?

well the film&television school/department is extremely competitive so you may have some trouble there. also, you could always talk to the professor.

The courses that say “for juniors/seniors” are those for people in that major, I believe. They also specify which courses are impacted so I guess that helps. Usually you can sign up for most classes since underclassmen are experimenting, too.

rpicton- i heard that at orientation they will be opening up more slots for each class so we will all have an equal chance at getting the classes we need… (whatever that means…) for example: if you notice on the schedule of classes some classes only allow about 50 students to enroll… as orientations progress you will see that same class enrollment increase… like to 300 students (in some classes…)

For my major (math/econ) they might. At least sophomores. They enter with Calc AP - BC and can already be taking 115A or 131A when I’m signing up.
