<p>I have actually dropped classes because i went to NYC and couldnt get back in time to take a test .. (the bf's are always in NYC)</p>
<p>I have been in CCC for 5 years, that is probably why UCLA will not accept me. But i had good reasons and i maintained fulltime employemtn or 30 hours a week for most of those 5 years. </p>

<p>He is applying to law schools with really sucky gpa and lsat... so far all he has is some weird school in florida. and i am applying to the UCs and somehow in this process we are supposed to end up in the same city or make some concrete plan.</p>

<p>Malishka, actually my gpa is lower than urs... It's 3.47 right now. I applied for a major that graduates 30 people every year, which had a lot to do w/ admissions.</p>
<p>I am pretty happy that i got accepted. I live like 5 mins by car from UCLA, about 15 mins by bus. I might have to take the bus b/c parking at ucla is 200 dollars a quarter and very limited. My friend who lives close to me didn't even get parking any of the yrs that he attended ucla...</p>
<p>I am still a little unsure about the major, but what the hell, i'll study earth science, and try to get into Pharmacy school. Pharm schools say they don't care about majors and i know many people who have gotten in as history, socio, psych majors etc.</p>
<p>I don't think u should be concerned about ucla not giving u a decision now. They just have so many applicants it takes time. Did ur BF(future husband) apply to peperdine or layola law schools? Maybe if u get into UCLA and he can get into law school close to LA, it will work out... </p>
<p>THere is a law school in Los Angeles that accepts everyone pretty much. they only have a 23% passing rate, but thats ok for law schools. </p>
<p>If he is gona go to some random school in florida, i don't think it's a worse option.</p>

he came to america at 18 and didnt know how the system worked and he has some F's in english classes and so on because he never withdrew form class. so anyhwo his gpa is 2.8 and his LSAT is 152, so as you see he has few options.
but he wants to go to an ABA accredited school and that one you linked me to i think is just california accredited.</p>
