I live in SoCal and I still didn’t get it! :(

I have “Review Your Admission Contract,” Visit the New Bruins Website," and “Request a tour.”

The odd this is that I remember seeing something inviting me to something when I originally logged on.

I need to go to something at UCLA because I cannot attend the Regents Scholars Society’s meet greet because it is the weekend before finals.

^ That’s the exact same menu I have, and I live 1.5 hrs from UCLA.

There’s also Scholar’s Day for AAP students, but I’m not sure when they send those notices out. I went to that one.

Well I live in NorCal too if that’s indication (San Jose/Bay Area). I don’t see any invites for either of the events. I’m going down to LA anyway to check it out but it’d be more convenient if there was something actually going on the weekend I was down there.

Maybe the spots filled up and there are no more reservations available. I think this also happened last year.

So odd. Well let me know if you guys are going to schedule a tour. I’ll come and join y’all.

@Tiffany, how do you find out if your admitted to AAP? They called me, but I wasn’t sure if it was because I did a summer program with them last year or if it was because I was admitted to the program. I of course didn’t ask when they called either.

I guess they just don’t want us very badly. Berkeley invited me to their transfer get-together. Maybe I’ll just go there next year, then !

To Ella89: If they called you, then you’re in. You will get an envelope from them soon, inviting you and your family to Scholar’s Day. Since you’re in AAP, I definitely recommend doing TSP!

Is it possible that the aap scholars day is only for people of “under-represented races?” I applied as African-american (tho I’m actually just north African) and I got the invite.

^
It’s for underrepresented and/or low-income students. I’m Asian (yes, I am aware) but my EFC is 0.

I got accepted as a Communication major at UCLA. I also have an invite to the AAP Transfer Scholars Day.

@smcguy & @UCeric2010:t really good to see ppl from last year and excited to someday meet you :)

where is this link? I found some info about the transfer admit reception where you can attend if you volunteer with S.T.O.M.P…

hmmm…

Damn I never heard from AAP.
