Hey guys been following this thread for quite some time … i am on the same boat with UCLA ughh… i am about the give up and just settle for CSUN… but question when did you guys apply for your appeal. In the early stages middle or the last day on the deadline… because i applied literally on Deadline. i just want to know if they are doing it on first come first serve basis, or a random selection… Good Luck to everyone
@danjackson That’s awesome! My thoughts are, they’re doing it alphabetically in terms of major? I read one of us in this thread was admitted last week and his/her major is communications. Since you’re major is history, probably they admitted/denied majors starting with “H” onwards. Idk, I wish I have some evidences with my theory. Do you know anyone who’s been admitted to Biology or Chemistry perhaps?

@Legolego This is just pure speculation, but I feel like they probably rejected the majority of us already and are just waiting until July to let us know 
. I’m pre-history so I know I’m definitely rejected again.
@danjackson what did you mention in your appeal?
Great so I’m rejected if they are going by majors because I appealed for gender studies.
I appealed for psychology.
And one thing , they asked for my transcript before the admission decision and they rejected me.
I’ve already registered in University of San Diego for Behavioral Nueroscience but I am still considering UCLA.
Dont give up and just pray.
My guess is they already have an idea of who to accept and deny but are waiting to see how many spots they have left. That’s probably why we’re waiting until July to see how many students get rescinded for our major and if there’s room they’ll look through appeals otherwise we’re out of luck
that’s exactly what they told me. They for those had unreasonable appeal , we have already rejected; for the rest we are waiting for the seats.
based on what they told me, yes. honestly not all of the operators are helpful, so I called over and over. Eventually, a very helpful man answered me and he said if you had unreasonable appeal, we would have rejected you by now. I think he is right because UCB and UCSB did same to me. they rejected me before the deadline.

There was another person accepted for African American studies yesterday.
Has anyone been denied yet??? Or does anyone who knows if anyone was denied?
@Allhalekhaleesi according to that person that got accepted with African American studies, several of his friends received rejections.
I just called and the person on the phone said we should know no later than this week… Good luck everyone
