What do you guys suppose are the odds of us finding out the same day as the freshmen notification like for SD?

Its not going to happen. Look at their website:

"freshman Decisions will be available beginning in late March, 2009

transfer Decisions will be available beginning in late April, 2009."

[UCLA Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools: Decision Notification](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/applicant/decision/default.htm)

I know they are withing their time frame of notifications but April seems too far of a wait.

I wonder if they will have rolling decisions at least, although that would be more unbearable having others with results while I wait…kind of like my situation with Davis right now, lol.

Do they send out decisions in the mail? Or will we be notified by email?

it will be available online and all the decisions will come out at once.

but i’ve heard many students have already received the scholarship email from ucla. did anyone here get it?

just because you got the regents invitation doesnt mean you made it to UCLA

it will be available online? watdafkkk…did you guys make like a username or something because i didnt. am i suppose to??

^ me neither, but I heard we’ll be e-mailed the login info.

you only need your UC application ID and your last name to check the decision online. I “wish” some of the decisions come out on the same day as freshmen, though.

Oh…I see.

I have a feeling transfer will know tomorrow, too. SD came out on the same day, and we all had to apply by the same date, too!

I really need to get in…super badly…x_x

I don’t think any transfer decisions will come out tomorrow ( Supposedly Wed or Thurs is when Freshmen decisions are coming out ). UCLA and Cal decisions have never come out earlier than late in April. Doubtful that will change.

I know people who work in the admissions processing at UCLA (Not decisions! Just processing) Beginning mid-April UCLA will start posting admission contracts for transfer students…so if you can find the right website you can find out early… from what I understand. I can’t remember the name of it off hand but I think its called Usur? or something along those lines, I signed up for my UCLA ID a while back. Be careful when doing this as it will be your UCLA ID for the rest of your education… no one wants the e-mail Octomom8@ucla.edu

Take this for what you will. One of my professors is a professor at UCLA also, and supposedly he assisted admissions in some of the programming for application review. According to him, it is their goal to make a “significant” amount of transfer decisions available as of April 9. Where, I did not ask nor do I know. I can try to find out more details on Friday. That being said, I am not assuming I/we will learn anything until late April. He could be full of whathaveyou.

Oh…darn.

I had a feeling I’d know tomorrow…sigh…

sp123…how did you make your UCLA ID??

there is no need to make an ID I believe the UCLA website [UCLA Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools: Decision Notification](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Applicant/Decision/default.htm) will tell you when the decisions are made. All you need is your ID and birth date.

If you no longer have your application ID you can go to that receipt they gave you after you turned in your application at https://admissions.ucop.edu/pathwaysF2009/Pathways

If you don’t remember the login you made there then you can call the UC office…or so I’ve heard.

I think sp123 is talking about the myucla or ursa websites. As, last year, we were able to find if we were accepted earlier through those sites.

MyUCLA

Theres the link above to make an account. You don’t have to be admitted yet.
