UCLA Transfer Help!!!!

Hello! So I'm planning to apply to ucla next year as a biology major from cc. As I was planning out my schedules for next year at cc, I realized I don't have time to take the second semester of physics. I'll be finished with all the other prereq (including second sem of ochem), IGETC, and TAP by next year. I have a 4.0 gpa right now and i'm pretty confident that it will stay high. Without the physics, do I have a chance of getting into UCLA?? Pleasee help meeeeeeeeee

UCLA emphasizes heavily on finishing all your pre-requisites for the major. As stated from assist.org:

Biology

Not finishing the entire pre-requisite puts you at an disadvantage against those who did

::EDIT:: Do you really need 2-semesters of physics?! D:

Physics 2 will be the only class i’ll be missing  Some people tell me that you can get in without physics 2 but I’m not sureee

I’m living proof that impacted majors will let in people without prereqs. I don’t know if they took into account the fact that they weren’t offered at my CC, but I was missing 2 prereqs and I got in to comms, which is the second most impacted major at UCLA. I totally remember how stressed I was, so I feel your pain.

physics is not a prereq for biology at UCLA. It’s recommended.
