Ucla/uc berkeley chances?!

I'm curious as to what my chances are at UCLA or UC Berkeley just by the numbers.

SAT I: 2260 (800 math, 790 writing, 670 CR)
Super-scored SAT I: 2310 (800 math, 790 writing, 720 CR)

SAT II's: 800 Biology M, 790 Chemistry, 800 Math IIC

AP Scores: Biology 5, AP Calc BC + AB Subscore 5's, AP USH 5, AP Euro 5, AP Comp. Sci A 5, AP English/Composition 4

IB Test scores: Biology SL 6

GPA Weighted: 4.57
UC Calculated GPA: 3.92

I took a lot of AP/IB classes sophomore and junior year. I tanked a bit with some B's first semester junior year, but I brought it back up 2nd semester. I realize that my UC calculated GPA is a bit low if I want to apply to UCLA or UCB, but will my other numbers make up for it? Thanks.

definitely in, if based on purely numbers. ec’s would give a more accurate judgement, though.

Even with a UC Calculated gpa of 3.92? My friends have told me that that number is pretty low for UCLA/UCB.

you’re in, dont worry

Both are high match/low reaches. Luckily, the UCs take more consideration of SAT score more than most private schools.

I’d say the OP has 50% to 75% chances of getting into Berkeley and/or UCLA.

Match for UCLA, which is a very numbers-based school. Uncertain for Cal, depending on ECs and essays.

UCB: High match
UCLA: High match

50-75% OP? What’s OP? Also for EC’s I played junior varsity waterpolo and swim; I couldn’t make varsity for water polo :’( and we’ll see what happens for swim this spring, secretary/treasurer of two clubs at school, chairman of orientation and training of the volunteer program at my hospital, and piano level CM 10. For piano, I didn’t do any hardcore competitions, since it was more of a hobby than anything else. I also did a summer internship at a micro-bio lab at USC for about 8 weeks.

OP=Original Poster=You

That is either match or high match. You beasted man wow you need to help me out for sat jk hahaah. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1431373-chance-top-schools.html</a> Can you also chance for UCLA and UCberekley

Your scores are excellent for those schools and may make up for your low GPA. Tell us what your EC’s were, it would help us greatly. I would say you are a match to high match for both schools. Good luck!

Chance back?

You are in at UCB and UCLA.
They are not difficult schools to get into.

Now that you have listed your ECs, and they seem pretty strong, I have changed my opinion to low match. I think you should be able to get in.

With few ECs, they would be high match.

I think both Berkeley and LA will take you!!

noice noice noice. Thanks everyone. And happy holidays to all of you!
