<p>southernazn918, yes go to UVA. It is a great institution. You will have plenty of research opportunities and will benefit from the larger public school atmosphere. You have the academics, you have the sports, you have everything you could want. That is why I love UCLA, CAL, Michigan, and UVA.</p>

<p>I'm a pre-med UVA student, and I'm in-state. Going to UVA is one of the best decisions I ever made. The tuition is really cheap. You have no idea how college can be very expensive not only with tuition but also with books, meal plan, furnitures, housing, etc. You can get research opportunities here. Although I am only first-year, I already landed a job as a research assistant at the lab. There are so many volunteering opportunities here as well. The hospital is approximately 5 minutes away from my classes. UVA also provides great academics, great sports, beautiful campus, etc. It's entirely up to you to decide whether to go to UVA or not.
