<p>well, this is the choice i gonna make by May 1. you may be done with this kind of thread but I do need your opinion. International student for both US / Canada, no FA.</p>

what about smith? I know they are totally different colleges, both attract me in some aspects.</p>

<p>why would you ask this? it is a no brainer. of course a highly ranked research university is better than a tiny womens only liberal arts college and a canadian school.</p>

<p>UCLA vs McGill: many people rank them basically the same, while mcGill is significant reputed in life-Science, with much lower cost than attending UCLA;</p>

<p>UCLA vs Smith: in more friendy Smith, you will have more personal care and attention, professors are more accessable, and you don’t need to fight as hard as in UCLA to get research resources / opportunities as an undergraduate students.</p>
