Hi! So i just heard back from all my schools and I was hoping to get some input. I know its about personal preference etc and no one can tell me where to go, but i just want to get some ideas about the different schools. I got into UCLA and Michigan and was waitlisted at Berkeley. I want to major in political science or public policy. I don’t know which school would be better for me. I want to study and do well but I also want to party (and party pretty hard sometimes at least). Also I’m not sure when Berkeley gets back to us on the waitlist so if you have any insight on that that would be great also! I hate having to wait for Berkeley but it seems like its the ‘best’ school but i’m not sure about the party scene there! Sorry this is a stressed out rant but i’d really appreciate some input!!
*****also two of my best friends are going to Michigan so i dont know if it would be bad and hard to make new friennds if i went
are you OOS for all three? If so, why would you pay such fees? (It makes no sense to me.)
I am OOS for all 3 yeah @bluebayou
Bump
Honestly, Berkeley is not the party school you’re looking for. People are pretty serious about their grades, granted this is the #1 public university in the country. UCLA is a completely different vibe though. While students are very bright and also serious about grades, it has a more party-scene-feel. This is just what I’ve experienced though. Everyone has a different perspective. Congrats on all your acceptances, and good luck!
