Which is a better choice for pre-med??

probably UCLA, for getting into a great law school Pomona wins hands down, pre-med not entirely sure

I say whatever school you feel is the best for you. (Because both of these schools are great) If you go to a school just bc it’ll be easier to get to med school… I doubt you’ll have such a great time. If you love the school, I’m sure you’ll make the best out of the education you receive there/ the opportunities presented to you there and get into the med school of your choice… But yes. For now and if you’re really torn, list down pros and cons.

I mean. Pomona’s great. Great research opportunities, small class sizes (for recs from profs)…But it’s really expensive…

Oh. Pomona doesn’t have a “pre-med” major but they’ll prepare you for med school… (neither does UCLA). but I’d say that Pomona would probably be better in guiding you towards med school with it’s small class size…

Talk to some current students/alumni (like from the past few years, not toooo long ago) and ask them

But then if youre considering UCLA med, they give preference to LA grads, I hear.

Anyways, they’re both great schools! Congrats!
